Singapore- What it's like to be the palest person in a waterpark...

...well I found that out today when we visited Adventure Cove Waterpark also on Sentosa Island. The people, especially children were fascinated by my reflective white skin completion! Trust me I stand out like a sore thumb here!

Anyway the Waterpark is another place that I would definitely advise you to visit if you stay in Singapore, it has quite a few really good slides, a lazy river, obstacle course, and wave pool like most waterparks, but what made it stand out was the pool of tropical fish which you got the chance to swim through, the fact that you can see Dolphins and string rays and for an extra price get the opportunity to swim with them, oh and sharks! It was probably one of the best waterparks I've been to and the pools were all warm!

We then took a look around the shops after which are all surprisingly American obviously the candy store couldn't be missed!

In the evening we then headed out to a buzzing shopping center with all the shops still open at 9pm! We went down to the food court which literally catered for every persons needs, we had no idea where to even start!

(The photo doesn't do it justice!)
We then headed down to a little street with buzzing bars and restaurants, (don't worry granny there were other tourists there, it was fine!) and sat with a cocktail to enjoy our last night, as we fly off to Bali tomorrow!

Singapore is a lovely and very clean city, but I would recommend for you to go for a few nights as a stop over before flying somewhere else, as it is possible to go to most places in a couple of days! Also I would recommend all backpackers or travellers on a budget to stay at the Five Stones as the staff are friendly, it's clean and its good value for money!

And to answer the question most of you are probably thinking... Yes, I did burn!
